The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Academy is staffed by Grant Laidlaw (C.E.O), Harry Hanekamp (Training Manager, Courseware development and Assessor) Stewart Laidlaw (Trainer and Assessor) and Edward Button (Workshop Manager, Trainer, Assessor and Moderator).
All trainers are fully qualified as well as being active members of the industry. Serving on the committee for trade testing, as well as on the Standards Generating Body (S.G.B.) and membership to SACOB being examples of some their involvement. We have representation on regional and national committees of the South African Institute for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (SAIRAC).
Office support is conducted by Anria Pieterse, Annelize Grobbelaar and Brenda Button, marketing and sales by Claudine Laidlaw, Yolanda Myburgh and Garth Du Plooy. The Academy aims to increase the staff compliment by two lecturers as the demand for training increases.
