The Academy has the resources to train all aspects of the Air conditioning and refrigeration fields up to level 5. The emphasis is in the training of apprentices / learnerships, artisans and technicians as well as aspects for management requiring technical knowledge. The training is specialized to the fields of air conditioning and refrigeration. The training is competency based, meaning, any student attending a course is given an in depth theoretical knowledge and the practical skills in order to achieve competency in the workplace.
Given the nature of the training required all courses have a full practical element. The aim of all the training is such that on successful completion of any particular course the student will be capable to do the job as required. The industries professional institute and controlling bodies will be consulted in order to achieve consistently high standards.
The training format has been developed around the requirements of the various businesses, as well as to conform to the latest methods in training techniques. The training is flexible in order for the employer to lay down the training requirements best suited for his environment and any time and money spent on unnecessary training will be avoided.
